Indoor Air Quality and System Performance Options

Indoor Air Quality and System Performance Options

The following options can be installed with your new heating/cooling system or can be simply added to your existing system. You may choose any or all of the following options to increase the efficiency, performance, and indoor air quality of your system. Download checklist

  • Attic Exhaust Fan: Did you know attics can reach over 130° in the summer time? Reducing the heat in your attic reduces cooling costs. Lower temperatures in your hot attic over the summertime with an automatic, pre set adjustable thermostat.
  • Electronic Air Cleaner: The Electronic Air Cleaner is a very effective way to filter up to 95% of airborne dust, pollen, smoke, mold, bacteria and more. It keeps your indoor air cleaner and healthier-fighting allergy, asthma and indoor air pollution irritants. It also keeps your system running cleaner. A clean system operates more efficiently and costs less to operate.
  • ActivTek Air Scrubber: Would you like to clean while you sleep? Air Scrubbers "scrubs" the air, destroying over 99.9% of all surface bacteria, viruses, germs, mold and odors. It helps purify and disinfect the air you breathe for a healthier environment. (Works great with or without the electronic air cleaner) (Fact: Indoor air pollution can be up to 20 times worse indoors than outdoors!).
  • U.V. Lights or Ultra Violet Lights: Kill mold right at the source! Kills mold in cooling coils and drain pans where it collects and grows. Cleans coils and drain pans to "as new". (Usually not used if air scrubber is selected).
  • EZ Flex Mechanical Air Filters: Large, pleated 4" thick high efficiency filter system that captures tiny particulates with deep layers of media fibers. Great for dust fighting capabilities and does not absorb moisture (no mold collection).
  • Humidifier: Tired of high heat bills, dry conditions and static dust and electricity? A humidifier adds the desired amount of moisture to the air automatically in the heat mode, providing a better comfort level that retains more heat in the winter.
  • Zone System: Zoning is a perfect and popular way of dividing your home into different areas of use. Example; separating the living areas from the bedrooms or an office from the rest of the home. The result is total indoor temperature control and energy savings. To separate comfort even more, ask about multiple zoning areas!
  • Air Duct Cleaning: For a more sanitary, clean and healthier environment, we recommend your ducting be inspected and cleaned with the ROTOBRUSH method. No harsh chemicals used, just aggressive brushing and hepa vacuum suction to thoroughly remove dust, dirt, debris and containments. Live better, live healthier!
  • Extended Warranties - are available to give you peace of mind with your new product warranty. Please call the office for more details and pricing.
  • Energy Saving Preventive Maintenance: Keep your system in top working order, minimize future breakdowns, extend equipment life and save on operating costs. Just like maintaining your car, your heating/cooling system requires similar care. Discounts are offered and/or can be included in your proposal. Ask about a free quote!
  • Air Duct Leakage Testing: Did you know most duct system's waste up to 40% in energy loss? That means not only the air that is leaking out your ducting is not heating or cooling your home. It is robbing system performance which costs you more in operating costs! Have your duct system tested and get the leak points identified, repaired and sealed. Enjoy increased comfort and lower utility bills or your money back!
  • Upgraded Thermostat: Want an easier to work with and attractive thermostat? Ask your Technician or call the office for options. Thermostats are available from very simple to use to advanced color touch screens. All have programming options to suit your every need.
  • Condensate Drain Protection: Any blockage in a water drain system can be disastrous and costly. Precautions can be taken, however accident do occur. Protect any possible flood damage with a sensor that actually turns the entire system off in the event of a clogged overflowing drain.
